Marriage

Marriage is a legal contract or a social union between two people of opposite gender. Marriage joins two individual for life, so that they can pursue duties, possessions, physical desires and ultimate spiritual release together. Marriage is not just the bonding between two individual, but also the development of bond between families. marriage is the life long commitment between husband and wife and is also considered as the strongest social bond between a man and woman. After marriage, a man and woman are considered as soul mates who will always stand by each other till the end of life.
In our Hindu community, marriage includes various ceremonies which have importance of their own. All the ceremonies are very colorful and extend for several days. The pre-marriage ceremony involves Engagement when the family and relatives of Groom come to Bride's house and perform a formal procession. And the post-marriage ceremonies includes the welcome of Bride to Groom's house and a reception to the close ones. Marriage is done by worshiping various deities believing that the Bride and Groom will always be together and blessed in all highs and lows of their life.

Therefore, marriage is a very special event of everyone life which brings a total newness to everyone's life. Everyone want their marriage to be a special one so that it will remain in their memories for ever and ever. Marriage determines how our rest of the life is going to be and it depends upon the individuals themself about how they hold on to their married life and take everything that comes to their life in a balanced way.
